Karen, the founder of Menopause Whilst Black & The Joy Retreat Barbados, refuses to become invisible post-menopause. She advocates for diversity within the menopause conversation and raises awareness on women's health, empowering Black women in the UK. In 2023, she launched the world's first wellness retreat for Black people in any stage of menopause. She also hosts Menopause Whilst Black the podcast, a platform sharing real stories of Black women in any stage of menopause. With eight seasons it’s the first podcast of its kind.

Erin is a committed filmmaker and producer who helps clients tell their stories and connect with audiences. With skills in film, digital projects, live events, and training, Erin provides flexible services for various storytelling needs. Erin has worked with well-known organizations like PBS Kids, Visit Scotland, Creative Scotland, BBC, and the University of Edinburgh. With over 20 years in technical production and 10 years in filmmaking, Erin has extensive knowledge and experience. Erin holds a BA in Photography, Film, and Imaging, and a PG Diploma in Interactive Systems Design, giving a solid background in visual storytelling and design.
In every project, Erin combines creativity with a calm presence, creating an environment that encourages innovative ideas and teamwork. This approach helps bring clients' stories to life in engaging ways.

CREATIVE STRATEGY & COMMUNICATIONS
Kareem is a creative strategist from London. She supports brands and founders in formulating their identity, connecting with their audience, and helps brands define their visual identity. She consults on how to distinguish themselves in their chosen fields, with an additional focus on instilling confidence online through a coherent brand voice. Kareem combines technical skill with a keen eye for detail to build pleasurable and consistent digital presences that enhance visibility and engagement. She also coaches individuals to present their work confidently and to nurture their online communities, and is responsible for online and social communications for Menopause Whilst Black and TJR.
